General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Enoxacin eye drops.
Enoxacin eye drops are used as an anti-bacterial to treat infections in and around the eye. Enoxacin is specifically used to treat conjunctivitis, keratitis and other eye infection caused by sensitive bacteria. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor. Enoxacin eye drops are a fluroquinolone eye drop. It works by blocking bacteria from reproducing in the eye. Fluroquinolones are used as bactericidal drugs, eradicating bacteria by interfering with the DNA replication. Like other Fluroquinolones, enoxacin functions by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topime race IV. The inhibition of these enzymes prevents bacterial DNA replication. Transcriptions, repair, and recombination. Enoxacin is active against many gram-positive bacteria.
Side Effects:
As with all pharmaceuticals, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of Enoxacin. Always consult a doctor or health care professional for medical advice before use.
Common side effects include, but may not be limited to burning or discomfort of the eye, crusting or crystals in corner of the eye, bad taste, feeling of something in the eye, itching, redness of the lining of the eyelids. Seek medical attention if the following develop: difficulty seeing at night, dryness of the eye, increased the sensitivity of the eyes to light, swelling of the eyelid, tearing of the eye.
