What is Atropine Sulfate?
Active Ingredients: Atropine Sulfate
Atropine Sulfate Eye Drops are used to dilate the pupil of the eye. This medication is typically used before certain eye procedures, like refraction examinations. Atropine Sulfate is also indicated for the treatment of some eye conditions, such as uveitis, amblyopia (lazy eye), or cycloplegia.
Atropine Sulfate is classified as an anticholinergic. It works by blocking the muscarinic receptors in the eye, which relaxes the muscles in the eye and dilates the pupil.
