Product Information
AdvaCare is a CE, ISO and USFDA manufacturer of Polymer Splint.
Polymer splint is made with multi-layer polymer fibers which are strong, durable, moldable and comfortable. For incredible durability and support, the polymer fiber is saturated with polyurethane and polyester. When there is breakage of bones or sprain or strain, a polyester splint is used for temporarily immobilizing the injured part.
Polymer splint is available in various sizes, for upper arms and legs. Our polymer splint has great elasticity and flexibility as it contains synthetic materials. They can also be used for x-rays.
Splints and casts are both used to support and protect injured bones and tissues by keeping them in place. Splints are used for minor fractures and for newly broken bones if the surrounding area is swollen. Splints are a better option when there is swelling because a cast can get tight and affect the circulation.
Our polymer splint is also lightweight along with providing incredible strength. It is easy to use and is activated by saturating in water for 4-6 seconds. The splint is stronger, lighter, and easier to operate as compared to a plaster splint, as it is made with an inside polymer layer and outside non-woven surface layers.
Each polymer splint can be used for different parts of the body, for example as a finger splint, arm splint, leg splint, elbow splint, etc. The polymer material is especially convenient for finger splint, as it is moldable.
