        Product Information

        General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Sumatriptan tablets.

Sumatriptan belongs to the class of medications called serotonin-1 receptor agonists. When migraine causes the blood vessels in the brain to expand, this causes a release of chemicals in the brain, which trigger inflammation and irritation.

Sumatriptan acts by making the blood vessels compress back to its normal size. By this action, it prevents the release of the chemicals and ultimately stops a migraine.

Do not take more than the recommended dose. Sumatriptan and its metabolites are excreted in the urine.
