General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Nisoldipine Tablets.
Nisoldipine Tablets are a calcium channel blocker. It is used to treat high blood pressure, hypertension. It does this by relaxing and widening the blood vessels to improve blood flow. They inhibit the transmembrane influx of calcium into smooth muscle and cardiac muscle.
Nisoldipine Tablets reversibly compete with other dihydropyridines for the calcium channel. Nisoldipine may be used in combination with other antihypertensive agents.
Side Effects:
As with all pharmaceuticals, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of Nisoldipine Tablets. Always consult a doctor or health care professional for medical advice before use. Side effects include but are not limited to dizziness, headache, nausea, sore throat, skin rash, difficulty breathing, hives, swelling, chest pain, irregular heartbeat, and feeling like you may pass out.

Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking nisoldipine tablets. If your condition does not improve or becomes worse, then call your doctor. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how nisoldipine tablets affect you.
Do NOT use nisoldipine tablets if you are:
- Allergic to the ingredients.
There is little evidence with regards to the use of nisoldipine tablets during pregnancy or breast feeding, and so consult your doctor or health care professional before taking nisoldipine tablets.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise. Usual dose for adults is: 17 mg initially once daily increased by 8.5 mg per week to attain an adequate blood pressure. Usual maintenance dose is between 17 and 34 mg once daily.
Possible interactions include cimetidine and ranitidine. Consult with your doctor about any medications you are taking, before your treatment with nisoldipine tablets.
