Product Information
General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Enalapril Maleate tablets.
Enalapril Maleate Tablets are a medication used to treat high blood pressure, diabetic kidney disease, and heart failure. It can be taken in conjunction with a diuretic to treat heart failure. Effects typically onset within an hour and last for up to a day. It can also treat hypertension, symptomatic heart failure, and asymptomatic left ventricular dysfunction. It is an emerging treatment for psychogenic polydipsia.
Enalapril works by inhibiting the angiotensin-converting enzyme that converts angiotensin to angiotensin II. Angiotensin II constricts the blood vessels, which increases blood pressure. By inhibiting the enzyme, Enalapril decreases angiotensin II, leading to less vasoconstriction and a lower blood pressure.
