The active ingredient, Doxorubicin, is an anthracycline antibiotic and a topoisomerase II inhibitor. Doxorubicin works by slowing and stopping the growth of cancer cells. Doxorubicin Hydrochloride is sometimes called Hydroxy Doxorubicin Hydrochloride.

What is Doxorubicin Hydrochloride used for?

Precautions

Do NOT use Doxorubicin HCL if:

You have had a recent myocardial infarction.
You have severe liver function impairment.
