General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Difenidol (Diphenidol) HCL tablets.
Difenidol HCL Tablets prevent and treat peripheral vertigo and associated nausea and vomiting from such conditions as Menieres disease and ear surgery. It can control nausea and vomiting from postoperative states, malignant neoplasms, antineoplastic agent therapy, infectious disease, and radiation sickness.
Difenidol HCL diminishes vestibular stimulation and labyrinthine function. It may also have action on the medullary chemoreceptive trigger zone. It is well absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract.
Side Effects:
As with all pharmaceuticals, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of difenidol HCL tablets. Always consult a doctor or health care professional for medical advice before use. Side effects include, but may not be limited to hallucination, disorientation, and confusion.

Do NOT use difenidol HCL tablets if:
- Allergic to difenidol.
There is little evidence with regards to the use of difenidol HCL tablets during pregnancy or breast feeding, and so consult your doctor or health care professional before taking difenidol HCL tablets.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise. Usual dose for adults is: 25-50mg every 4 hours for up to 300mg a day. Usual does for children is: 0.88mg/kg of body weight every 4 hours as needed.
Possible interactions include anticholinergics, apomorphine, and CNS depression-producing medications. Consult with your doctor about any medications you are taking, before your treatment with difenidol HCL tablets.
