Cefpodoxime
Product Information
General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacture of Cefpodoxime tablets.
Cefpodoxime works by interfering with the ability of bacteria to form cell walls.
The cell wall of bacteria is vital for its survival and metabolism. Cefpodoxime also blocks unwanted substances from entering the cells but with the action of this drug, the bonds that hold the wall together are broken and perforated.
This allows holes to appear, substances now flow in and out of the cell and this kills the bacteria.
This drug is a broad-spectrum antibiotic; it kills a wide variety of bacteria and also manages a variety of commonly-occurring bacterial infections. Cefpodoxime is excreted in feces and urine.
Side Effects:
As with all pharmaceutical medicines, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of cefpodoxime tablets.

Common side effects may include fever, joint pain, nausea, diarrhea, rash, headache, dizziness, feeling weak, tinnitus, vomiting, and itching.
