What is Captopril?
Active Ingredients: Captopril
Captopril Tablets are a drug used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and some types of congestive heart failure. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of stroke, heart disease, heart attack, and other problems. This medication may be used alone or with other hypertensive drugs.
Captopril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor. Its action may increase the survival rate and reduce the risk of heart failure after a heart attack.
