Do NOT use dexamethasone sodium phosphate eye drops if:

There is little evidence with regards to the use of dexamethasone sodium phosphate eye drops during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and so consult your doctor or health care professional before taking dexamethasone sodium phosphate eye drops.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise. The usual dose is one or two drops every hour during the day and every two hours during the night. After improvement, reduce dosage to one drop every four hours. Later, reduce to one drop three or four times daily.
