Product Information
AdvaCare is a CE, ISO and USFDA manufacturer of Cast Padding.
Cast Padding is a type of bandage used to provide cushioning and a layer of protection for a plastered wound. It provides comfort to the patient during the healing process as it is placed between rigid cast and the body. Our cast padding is manufactured in 3 different medical-grade materials.
Polyester is a soft and smooth material which is strong and resistant to creasing and also resilient and easy to wash.
Viscose, also known as rayon, is a synthetic fiber which is highly absorbent, thick, elastic and relatively light. It conforms well varying body contours due to its elasticity. It allows patients to move freely by preventing swelling. Our viscose also allows space for breathing which prevents irritation of the skin.
Cotton, which is light and has the highest absorbency among the three materials, is soft, comfortable, quick to absorb and releases perspiration. It becomes stronger when it gets wet and thus more effective to clean, protect and absorb bodily fluids.
It is used for orthopedic purposes under a plaster cast to provide cast padding, prevent irritation and infection and it facilitates the healing process for fractures and other injuries and is widely used in hospitals and clinics. Our cast paddings are widely available in different materials and sizes.
