AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Tilmicosin soluble powders.

Tilmicosin soluble powders is a macrolide antibiotic used for livestock and poultry. It is mainly used to control avian mycoplasma mastitis in lactating animals, to control livestock pneumonia and has shown to be effective in treating ulcers and healing wounds.

Tilmicosin is used in the treatment for respiratory infections in cattle and sheep associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella spp. and other tilmicosin-susceptible micro-organisms, and for the treatment of ovine mastitis associated with Staphylococcus aureus and Mycoplasma spp.

Additionally it is recommended to use in the treatment of interdigital necrobacillosis in cattle (bovine pododermatitis, foul in the foot) and ovine foot rot.

Tilmicosin is excreted mainly via the bile into the feaces, with a small proportion being excreted via the urine.

Side Effects:
As with all veterinary products some unwanted effects can occur. Always consult veterinary physician or animal care specialist for medical advice before use.

Common side effects include: hypersensitivity, lameness, decreased food and water consumption, anaphylaxis/anaphylactic reactions, dyspnea, death, etc.

Indications and Usage

It is indicated in the treatment of mycoplasma infection caused by a cough, snoring, panting, sneezing face swelling, jilt nose, breathing difficulties, mouth open and extension neck, cesarean section can be seen in the trachea bleeding, there is sputum, the balloon inside the cheese-like substance and other symptoms.

Special Features

The oral absorption is rapid and has a lasting effect, the drug can reach the peak of blood drug concentration 2-3 hours after entering the body, and the effective blood drug concentration lasts long.

Administration and Dosage

General recommended dosage is: 75mg of tilmicosin mixed with 1 liter of water and continue to use in chickens for three days.

Refer to an animal care specialist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise, and complete the full treatment, as stopping early can result in a recurrence or worsen the problem.

Withdrawal Time

14 days for chicken from last treatment.
