General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Norfloxacin soluble powders.

Norfloxacin is a quinolone antibiotic. Norfloxacin treats gastrointestinal, respiratory, and urinary tract infections. It treats gram-negative bacteria such as Campylobacter, E.coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Mycoplasma spp., and Salmonella.

Norfloxacin remains in the animal’s system 8 days for calves, goats, swine, and sheep, and 12 days for poultry.

The dosages are as follows:

For Calves, Goats, Sheep: twice daily 10ml for 75-160kg body weight over 3-5 days.

For Poultry: 1 liter per 1500-4000 liters of drinking water over 3-5 days.

For Swine: 1 liter per 1000-3000 liters of drinking water over 3-5 days.

The withdrawal time for calves, goats, sheep and swine is 8 days. The withdrawal time for poultry is 12 days.

Side Effects:
As with all veterinary medicine some unwanted effects can occur from the use of norfloxacin soluble powders. Always consult a veterinary physician or animal care specialist for medical advice before use.

Side effects include but are not limited to: hypersensitivity reactions, arthropathy in juvenile animals.
