Product Information

General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Fenbendazole premixes.

Fenbendazole is a broad spectrum benzimidazole anthelmintic used to treat gastrointestinal parasites such as giardia, roundworms, whipworms, hookworms, tapeworms, paragonimiasis, pinworms, strongyles, and strongyloides.

Fenbendazole lowers the parasite’s energy reserves and thus limits their ability to produce protective factors and eliminate waste from their cells. A veterinary may perform a fecal floatation test to determine if the animal has a parasite.

Fenbendazole premixes may have drug interactions with salicylanilides, praziquantel, and dexamethasone. Do not administer to pregnant or lactating animals. Use caution when administering to animals with liver disease. Store in a tightly sealed container. It is safe to use on pets over 6 weeks old.

Side Effects:
As with all veterinary medicine some unwanted effects can occur from the use of fenbendazole premixes. Always consult a veterinary physician or animal care specialist for medical advice before use.

Side effects include but are not limited to: diarrhea, loss of appetite, and lethargy.

For a comprehensive list of all possible effects, consult a veterinary physician.

If any symptom persists or gets worse, or you notice any other symptom, then please seek veterinary medical treatment immediately.

Additional Information

Always consult a veterinary physician or animal care specialist before using fenbendazole premixes.

If the condition does not improve or becomes worse, then call a veterinary physician or animal care specialist.

Refer to an animal care specialist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise, and complete the full treatment, as stopping early can result in a recurrence or worsening of the problem.

Consult with an animal care specialist about any other medications that are being taken by the animal, and their medical history, before their treatment with fenbendazole.
