Always consult a veterinary physician or animal care specialist before using compound metamizole sodium liquid injection.
If the condition does not improve or becomes worse, then contact a veterinary physician or animal care specialist.
Refer to an animal care specialist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise, and complete the full treatment, as early termination may result in a recurrence or a worsening of the problem. Usual dosage is as follows:
Intramuscular injection, per treatment:
3-10g compound metamizole sodium for cattle and horses;
1-2g compound metamizole sodium for sheep, goats;
1-3g compound metamizole sodium for pigs;
0.3-0.6g compound metamizole sodium for dogs.
Consult with an animal care specialist about any other medications that are being taken by the animal, and their medical history, before their treatment with compound metamizole sodium.
