Product Information

General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Oxytetracycline tablets.

Oxytetracycline is an antibiotic which belongs to a general class of drugs known as tetracyclines. This drug inhibits bacteria by suppressing protein synthesis and growth.

Oxytetracycline is effective against a wide range of bacteria as well as one-celled (protozoa) organisms. It is effective against bacteria that infect the eyes, oral cavity, bone, respiratory tract, sinuses and blood cells in animals.

Side Effects :
As with all veterinary products, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of oxytetracycline tablets. Always consult veterinary physician or animal care specialist for medical advice before use.

Common side effects include: hypersensitivity or allergy to the drug, decrease appetite, stomach, and intestinal problems.

For a comprehensive list of all possible effects, consult a veterinary physician.

If any symptom persists or gets worse, or you notice any other symptom, then please seek veterinary medical treatment immediately.

Additional Information

Always consult a veterinary physician or animal care specialist before using oxytetracycline tablets. If the condition does not improve or becomes worse, then call a veterinary physician or animal care specialist.

Oxytetracycline should be avoided in pregnant animals as liver problems may occur.

Refer to an animal care specialist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise, and complete the full treatment, as stopping early can result in a recurrence or worsen the problem.

Consult with an animal care specialist about any other medications that are being taken by the animal, and their medical history, before their treatment with oxytetracycline tablets.
