Do not use glibenclamide tablets during pregnancy or breast feeding. Consult your doctor or health care professional before taking glibenclamide tablets.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise. Usual dose for adults is: 5mg once daily with or immediately after the first meal.
Then, the dose can be adjusted by 2.5-5mg increments at weekly intervals with a maximum of 15mg.
Possible interactions include but are not limited to: analgesics, antibacterials, cytotoxic drugs, alcohol, anticoagulants, antidepressants, antifungals, antimalarials, antiulcer drugs, and more.
