Do NOT use ephedrine HCL tablets if:
- Allergic to ingredients;
- Do not have asthma;
- Use prescription asthma medications;
- Youve been hospitalized for asthma.
There is little evidence with regards to the use of ephedrine HCL tablets during pregnancy or breast feeding, and so consult your doctor or health care professional before taking ephedrine HCL tablets.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise. Usual dose for adults depends on the condition being treated; refer to your doctor for the correct dosage.
Possible interactions include but are not limited to: MAO inhibitors, beta blockers, COMT inhibitors, guanadrel, or guanethidine. Consult with your doctor about any medications you are taking, before your treatment with ephedrine HCL tablets.
