Tinidazole is an antibiotic which works either by stopping the growth of germs or by killing the germs when it grows. It is used to treat vaginal infections and parasite infections. It doesn’t work for common cold and flu. It works well if the antibiotics are taken at the same time each day till the full prescribed amount is finished. There are chances of reoccurring of infection if medication is stopped early. It is advisable to take the tablet with food to maintain the effectiveness of the medicine and minimize the gastrointestinal side effects.
