Do NOT use sildenafil citrate tablets if:
- You are allergic to ingredients;
- You recently took riociguat or nitrates.
There is little evidence with regards to the use of sildenafil citrate tablets during pregnancy or breast feeding, and so consult your doctor or health care professional before taking sildenafil citrate tablets. It is not expected to harm an unborn baby.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise. Usual dose for adults is: to treat erectile dysfunction, one hour before sexual activity or 4 hours to 30 minutes beforehand. Do not take more than once every 24 hours. To treat pulmonary arterial hypertension, take doses 4-6 hours apart.
Possible interactions include nitrates, protease inhibitors, and a1 blockers. Consult with your doctor about any medications you are taking, before your treatment with sildenafil citrate tablets.
