AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Phenytoin Sodium tablets.

Phenytoin sodium tablets are an anticonvulsant. They work by slowing impulses in the brain that cause seizures. It can be used to control seizures, abnormal heart rhythms, digoxin toxicity, and trigeminal neuralgia.

It is believed to protect against seizures by blocking voltage-gated sodium channels. Phenytoin maximizes activity in the brain stem centers that are responsible for the tonic phase of tonic-clonic seizures.

Side Effects:
As with all pharmaceuticals, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of phenytoin sodium tablets. Always consult a doctor or health care professional for medical advice before use. Common side effects include, but may not be limited to dizziness, nausea, tremors, rash, headache, insomnia, or abnormal eye movement.
