Product Information

General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Sulbactam Sodium powder for injections.

Sulbactam Sodium Powder for Injections is a molecule that is a β-lactamase inhibitor used as the sodium salt to increase the antibacterial activity of penicillins and cephalosporins against β-lactamase–producing organisms.

Sulbactam is able to inhibit the most common forms of beta-lactamase but is not able to interact with the ampC cephalosporinase.

Also, it offers little protection against bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Citrobacter, Enterobacter, and Serratia, which often express this gene.
