Do NOT use gentamicin eye ointment if:
- You are allergic to gentamicin or to other aminoglycoside antibiotics (such as tobramycin);
- You have any other allergies;
- Your vision may become temporarily blurred. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any activity that requires clear vision.
Gentamicin (for eyes) topical ointment is created for ophthalmic use only and should not be used in the nose, mouth and ears.
Over dosage, application frequency, and treatment duration of gentamicin eye ointment should not be exceeded.
