If your condition does not improve or becomes worse, then call your doctor.
Driving or operating machinery is okay as long as vision is clear as the eye drops may cause temporary blurred vision.
Do NOT use norfloxacin if:
- You have viral or fungal eye infection (the eye drops only treat bacterial infections).
There is little evidence with regards to the use of norfloxacin during pregnancy or breastfeeding, so consult your doctor or health care professional before taking norfloxacin.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise. The usual dose for adults and children above 1 year of age is 1-2 drops 4 times daily for 7 days maximum. For severe infections, 1-2 drops every 2 hours on the first day while awake.
Possible interactions may include cyclosporine serum. Consult with your doctor about any medications you are taking, before your treatment with norfloxacin.
