Indications and Usage
You should not use ciprofloxacin for more than 3 weeks, unless instructed to by your doctor.
Wash your hands before you begin. Tilt your head back while pulling down your lower eyelid with a finger and put a drop of ciprofloxacin hcl lactate in your eye. Bring the bottle tip very close to the eye and do it in front of a mirror if it helps.
Do not touch your eye, eyelid, surrounding areas, or other surfaces with the dropper, as it may infect the drops. Do not squeeze the bottle. Only a gentle press on the bottom is needed to release one drop at a time. If you use drops in both eyes, repeat the steps for your other eye.
If you forget to take a dose, do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
Do not take ciprofloxacin HCL lactate eye drops if:
- You are allergic to it, or any of the ingredients;
- You are wearing contact lenses;
- you are taking other medicines and herbal or vitamin supplements.
