If your condition does not improve or becomes worse, then call your doctor.
Driving or operating machinery should be done with caution, as the eye drops may cause sensitivity to light. Do not attempt to drive or operate machinery until you know how you react to the eye drops.
Do NOT use ciprofloxacin HCL lactate eye drops if:
- Allergic to ingredients.
There is little evidence with regards to the use of ciprofloxacin HCL lactate eye drops during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and so consult your doctor or health care professional before taking ciprofloxacin HCL lactate eye drops.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise. The usual dose is 1-2 drops to the eye every 1-4 hours. After improvement, the period between doses may be increased.
Possible interactions include theophylline, blood thinner medications, or cyclosporine. Consult with your doctor about any medications you are taking, before your treatment with ciprofloxacin HCL lactate eye drops.
