There is little evidence with regards to the use of vitamin C injection during pregnancy or breast feeding, so consult your doctor or health care professional before taking vitamin C injection.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise. Usual dose for adults is: depending on condition and severeness 50 to 200mg/day. Usual dose for children is: depending on condition and severeness 35 to 100mg/day.
Anticoagulants may interact with vitamin C injection because side effects may be increased by ascorbic acid. Consult with your doctor about any medications you are taking, before your treatment with vitamin C injection.
