The body breaks down adenosine to get rid of it. Dipyridamole (Persantine) can decrease the breakdown of adenosine. Decreasing the breakdown of adenosine can cause heart problems. Consult with your doctor about any medications you are taking, before your treatment with meglumine adenosine cyclophosphate.
