Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking glucose infusions.
If your condition does not improve or becomes worse, then call your doctor.
Do NOT use glucose infusions if:
- You have diabetes that is not adequately treated, allowing your blood sugar levels to rise above normal (uncompensated diabetes);
- You have hyperosmolar coma (unconsciousness). This is a type of coma that can occur if you have diabetes and do not receive enough medicine.
Over dosage, application frequency, and treatment duration of glucose infusions should not be exceeded.
Glucose infusions are not recommended for the treatment of infections due to inadequate efficacy.
Consult with your doctor about any medications you are taking, before your treatment with glucose infusions.
