If your condition does not improve or becomes worse, then call your doctor.
Driving or operating machinery is okay, and no special precautions have to be taken.
Do NOT use lincomycin if:
- You are allergic to any ingredient in lincomycin;
- You are taking erythromycin.
There is little evidence with regards to the use of lincomycin during pregnancy or breast feeding, so consult your doctor or health care professional before taking it.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise. Usual dose for adults is oral, 500mg 3-4 times daily. Consult your doctor regarding dosage for children.
Inform your doctor, pharmacist, health care provider if you are taking any other medicines, especially erythromycin, because it may decrease lincomycin’s effectiveness.
