If your condition does not improve or becomes worse, then call your doctor. Driving or operating machinery is okay.
Do NOT use fosfomycin calcium if:
- You are allergic to it.
There is little evidence with regards to the use of fosfomycin calcium during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and so consult your doctor or health care professional before taking it.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise.
Fosfomycin calcium should not be used in children younger than 12 years old, safety and effectiveness in these children have not been confirmed.
Some medicines may interact with fosfomycin calcium, especially one of the following: anorexiants lithium or tetracyclines and metoclopramide.
