General Information:
AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Ranitidine HCL capsules.

Ranitidine is a group of drugs called histamine-2 blockers. It is a histamine that inhibits stomach acid production. Ranitidine also treats conditions in which the stomach produces too much acid, such as Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome. It is also used alongside fexofenadine and other antihistamines for the treatment of skin conditions such as hives.

Ranitidine HCL capsules treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease (PUD) and other conditions in which acid backs up from the stomach into the esophagus, causing heartburn.

Decreases stomach acid production: can be used for heartburn.

Side Effects:
As with all pharmaceuticals, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of ranitidine HCL capsules. Always consult a doctor or health care professional for medical advice before use. Common side effects include, but may not be limited to a headache, nausea, constipation, diarrhea and abdominal pain. Seek medical attention if the following develop: vomiting or an allergic reaction.

Possible interactions with ranitidine HCL capsules are certain antibiotics such as cobicistat and atazanavir. Consult with your doctor about any medications you are taking, before your treatment with ranitidine HCL capsules.
