Driving or operating machinery is okay, as it does not cause any side effects that would impair your ability to drive or operate machinery.
Do NOT use oxacillin if:
- You are allergic to oxacillin or to any other penicillin antibiotic.
Use of oxacillin during pregnancy or breast feeding is not recommended as oxacillin can be found in breast milk. Consult your doctor or health care professional before taking oxacillin.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise.
Methotrexate (Rheumatrex, Trexall) and orprobenecid (Benemid) may cause interactions. Consult with your doctor about any medications you are taking, before your treatment with oxacillin.
