Driving or operating machinery is okay, as it should not cause dizziness or drowsiness.
Do NOT use calcium folinate powder for injection if:
- You have pernicious anemia and other megaloblastic anemia’s secondary to vitamin B12 deficiency.
- You are hypersensitive to any of the compounds used within the powder for injection.
Use of calcium folinate during pregnancy or breast feeding has not been proven to be harmful, however you should still consult your doctor or health care professional before using calcium folinate.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise. Usual dose for adults is 5% diluted with glucose intravenous infusion or 0.9% sodium chloride intravenous. These doses can vary according to the type of disease.
