Auto-Disable Syringes are sterile, non-toxic, and non-pyrogenic medical disposables made of plastic material, with many options available for different types of applications.

The auto-disable syringe is a reliable and affordable option for ensuring that the syringe is used only once to reduce the spread of illness and infection because the plunger voluntarily or involuntarily becomes damaged after a single use, making repeated use impossible. The involuntary model only allows a backward movement followed by one full forward movement of piston.

AdvaCare auto-disable syringes are manufactured with high-quality materials including medical grade PVC for the barrel and plunger, a perfectly fitted rubber plunger tip/piston for a reliable seal, and a precision needle. The transparent barrel allows for easy and accurate measurement and quick detection of air bubbles.

Our auto-disable syringes are manufactured as luer slip or luer lock.

The luer slip needle is used for less viscous medicine injections: the needle slides onto a syringe’s barrel, and is not as securely locked as the luer lock needle. The luer lock needle can be screwed onto the tip of the syringe, preventing removal of the needle.

Auto-disable syringes are easy to use and thus need little instruction, training or explanation before use. They are ready to use upon opening and are pre-sterilized which eliminates the need for any other sterilizing equipment, so they limit the risk of infection through accidents and thus protect both medical professionals and patients from transmitting blood-borne pathogens such as HIV or Hepatitis B. They pose the lowest risk of reuse.
