If your condition does not improve or becomes worse, then call your doctor.
Driving or operating machinery should be avoided, as it may cause dizziness.
Do NOT use dihydroartemisinin piperaquine tablets if:
- You are taking any other medicines, especially other anti-malarial medicines, anti-psychotics, azole antifungals, clomipramine, fluoroquinolone antibiotics, imipramine, or macrolide antibiotics.
- You are using carbamazepine, efavirenz, enzalutamide, hydantoins, mefloquine, evirapine, phenobarbital, primidone, riamycins.
- You are taking hormonal birth control.
There is little evidence with regards to the use of dihydroartemisinin piperaquine during pregnancy or breast feeding, and so consult your doctor or health care professional before taking the medicine.
Refer to your doctor or pharmacist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise. Usual dose for adults is: once daily
