General Information:
Artesunate oral suspension is an antimalarial agent and is a water-soluble hemisuccinate derivate of dihydroartemisinin. Artesunate oral suspension is manufactured and used for killing the erythrocytic stage of Plasmodium asexual form. Artesunate is effective against malaria caused by a chloroquine-resistant strain of Plasmodium falciparum and is resistant to all other antimalarial drugs.

Side Effects:
As with all pharmaceuticals, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of artesunate oral suspension. Always consult a doctor or health care professional for medical advice before use. Seek medical attention if the following develop: cardiotoxicity (on high doses), neurotoxicity, fever and skin rash.
